Leveraging Smart Telemedicine Technology to Enhance Nursing Care Satisfaction and Revolutionize COVID-19 Care: Prospective Cohort Study

Leveraging Smart Telemedicine Technology to Enhance Nursing Care Satisfaction and Revolutionize COVID-19 Care: Prospective Cohort Study

The need for home quarantine and home medical care is vital. National Taiwan University Hospital Yunlin Branch has pioneered a telecommunication-based remote consultation model [3], providing video consultations for individuals under home quarantine. This initiative has not only met their basic health care needs but also minimized the risk of infection by reducing hospital visits.

Mental Health Benefits of Listening to Music During COVID-19 Quarantine: Cross-Sectional Study

China was the first country to implement nationwide quarantine policies in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Unlike many other nations that have adopted “co-existence” strategies—gradually easing restrictions, improving therapeutics, and relying on voluntary isolation [2]—it has maintained a strict “COVID-19 elimination” approach, with mandatory quarantine measures (ie, home or institutional quarantine) at its core.

Contact Tracing Different Age Groups During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Retrospective Study From South-West Germany

Contact Tracing Different Age Groups During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Retrospective Study From South-West Germany

This paper examines the use of quarantine as an infection control measure in RNK/HD from the initial disease outbreak until the introduction of the vaccine. To assess overall effectiveness in a real-life setting, we propose using “quarantine sensitivity,” defined as the proportion of the infected population captured in quarantine (Figure 3).

COVID-19 Contact Tracing as an Indicator for Evaluating a Pandemic Situation: Simulation Study

In Portugal, contact tracing and the imposing of quarantine measures are tasks specific to public health units [5]. The capacity of local public health units to perform contact tracing is constrained by the availability of technological and workforce resources [3].

A Web-Based App for Emotional Management During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Platform Development and Retrospective Analysis of its Use Throughout Two Waves of the Outbreak in Spain

Alongside the quarantine-specific stressors, the uncertainty associated with the pandemic scenario and impossibility of accompanying loved ones during their hospital stay or end-of-life stage has contributed to psychological overwhelming in many cases [5]. The use of mobile health (m Health) and web-based technologies for health (e Health) has been shown to improve access to health care services under confinement situations.

The COVID-19 quarantine has also resulted in significant lifestyle changes, such as variations to customary eating habits and physical activity [12,13]. These changes have resulted in widespread concerns about weight gain and body image [14]. Reflecting this, the term quarantine 15 is highly discussed on social media [15,16]. For example, a recent search yielded approximately 50,600 videos on You Tube (Google LLC) that include quarantine 15 in their titles.
