A Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Trigger System for Suppressing Motor-Evoked Potential Fluctuation Using Electroencephalogram Coherence Analysis: Algorithm Development and Validation Study

A Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Trigger System for Suppressing Motor-Evoked Potential Fluctuation Using Electroencephalogram Coherence Analysis: Algorithm Development and Validation Study

If 30 seconds passed from the beginning of the experiment, the threshold of Coh (β) was updated with a ∆threshold = –0.05 for every second until the TMS was applied. Once the TMS trigger was output, the threshold value was set to the initial value. Presetting of the initial threshold. We determined the initial threshold of Coh (β) under which the trigger could be performed 6 times in 180 seconds. EEG: electroencephalogram. Flowchart of one section of coherence analysis in the TMS trigger system.

Correlation of Population SARS-CoV-2 Cycle Threshold Values to Local Disease Dynamics: Exploratory Observational Study

Correlation of Population SARS-CoV-2 Cycle Threshold Values to Local Disease Dynamics: Exploratory Observational Study

The cycle threshold (CT) value represents the number of polymerase chain reaction cycles that are required to detect a positive signal [5]. The CT value is inversely related to the viral load; a 3.3 increase in CT value indicates an approximately 10-fold decrease in the amount of viral genetic material present in a sample [5]. COVID-19 RT-PCR tests are generally considered positive only if they generate a result with a CT value that is lower than the recommended cutoff.

Understanding Behavioral Intentions Toward COVID-19 Vaccines: Theory-Based Content Analysis of Tweets

Understanding Behavioral Intentions Toward COVID-19 Vaccines: Theory-Based Content Analysis of Tweets

The statistical significance threshold was .05. We coded 5000 COVID-19 vaccine–related tweets, which were posted by 4796 unique users. We found 279 tweets that stated their behavioral intentions. The remaining tweets did not state any behavioral intentions toward COVID-19 vaccines. A total of 97 tweets were labeled with positive behavioral intentions, while 182 tweets contained negative behavioral intentions.
