Projections of Lung Cancer Incidence by 2035 in 40 Countries Worldwide: Population-Based Study
Quantitative projections of the future LC burden in different world regions, in terms of expected number of new cases and incidence rates in both absolute size and trends, can help optimize the allocation of resources for screening, diagnosis, and therapy and provide a benchmark for evaluating LC prevention and control interventions worldwide, with the aim of reducing the LC burden and promoting health equity [5].
