Trends in Prescription of Stimulants and Narcoleptic Drugs in Switzerland: Longitudinal Health Insurance Claims Analysis for the Years 2014-2021

Based on the medical prescriber who issued the invoices, several prescriber categories were defined: GP, psychiatrist, neurologist, other specialists (combining all other prescribers, such as nonspecific group practices, cardiologists, pulmonologists, rheumatologists, etc). Only health care personnel in Switzerland are allowed to prescribe medication.

Complex Hospital-Based Electronic Prescribing–Based Intervention to Support Antimicrobial Stewardship: Qualitative Study

We explored prescribers’ experiences using e PAMS+ 2 weeks and 7 weeks after “go live,” and SH collected qualitative data during 2 week-long field visits in October 2022 and December 2022. Interviews explored existing AMS practices, perceived impacts of different elements of e PAMS+, facilitators and barriers to effective use, and suggested improvements (Textbox 2).
