Utility of Anthropometric Indexes for Detecting Metabolic Syndrome in Resource-Limited Regions of Northwestern China: Cross-Sectional Study

Therefore, incorporating blood profile indices into Met S research is suggested. To date, there is a scarcity of research on anthropometric indexes tailored to identify the presence of Met S in populations from resource-limited areas of China. To fill these gaps, this study aimed to explore the relationship between 8 anthropometric indexes, including both body measurements and blood profiles, and the risk of Met S in adults from resource-limited areas.
