The test method was to select a 50-meter-long hard surface in the corridor outside the ward and place markers at both ends. Patients were asked to walk back and forth along the marked line as far as possible, ensuring that there was no interference in the surrounding area, talking, running, and jumping were prohibited during the walk, and there was no hesitation at the folding point, and the total distance traveled was calculated after timing the walk for 6 minutes [13].

For instance, Wang et al [22] included both randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and non-RCTs, but their quantitative analysis was limited to the 6-minute walk distance (6 MWD), with dyspnea and HRQo L outcomes only descriptively summarized. Patsaki et al [23] and Obrero-Gaitán et al [26] restricted their analyses to English-language publications, potentially excluding relevant non-English studies.

However, long-term adherence often requires additional support, such as personalized goal setting and social interaction [16,17]. Social cognitive theory further explains how wearable trackers influence behavior through self-regulation, observational learning, and reinforcement [18].

Though the long-term effect on acceptance of illness is significant, the Ai Care program had limited long-term effects on improving Qo L, potentially due to the insufficient frequency of both web-based and offline modules. For instance, a previous intervention for this population was conducted web-based 3 to 5 times per week [15], whereas the web-based component in this study was only twice per week.

Studies have long noted deficiencies and delays in individuals receiving a dementia diagnosis [3-12]. The World Health Organization’s Global Action Plan on Dementia includes a focus on the right to a timely dementia diagnosis to enable better planning, treatment, care, support, and quality of life [13]; for example, timely diagnosis can help individuals avoid preventable accidents and injuries leading to care escalation and can reduce distress for patients and caregivers [9,14-16].

Furthermore, to enhance participant compliance, regular health education activities will be conducted, humane care will be enhanced, and a long-term follow-up plan will be developed.
